Everything Hurts

Talking sometimes feel like a waste of breathing, like the things you want to say feel useless to the people around you. It makes you wonder why you felt like speaking in the first place. When I mean "everything hurts," it's because it genuinely does. Picture this, you are in your early twenties like me, and you can't seem to figure out why you can't fully heal from what really hurt you. You think to yourself, maybe it's the breakup, or you don't seem to have any good friends, or your parents nag about your life choices, or your job is too demanding. Whatever the case is, all of those sound like problems to me, you never got the manual to being an adult in life, never getting the cheat codes to heal faster when you feel like you have run out of lives, and all that takes a heavy toll. Which is why Everything hurts. You want to say "Fuck it" and just disappear, but god forbid all of a sudden those around start to care. They ask you stupid questions like "How come you never told us?" or "You could've talked to us." Acting all concerned all of a sudden when they never showed up when it mattered to you. Maybe you wanted to avoid a pointless and awkward conversation about your life, and feeling like it's all of a sudden an intervention. And you have to sit there and explain why Everything Hurts.
