The most gut wrenching thing a person can say to you. We all know what I mean by those's texts. They typically involve a person you really didn't want to hear from. Or a mistake waiting to happen. This is a nightmare to experience because what do you mean you "miss me." Like, what right do you have to crawl back into my life and give me false hope again? Claiming to miss me, were you bored, were you lonely, or were you feeling like you needed someone for the night? "I miss you," those three words that sent chills down my spine. You miss me now, but what about yesterday, the day before that, a week, or a month? Did you miss me before that? Why now? And the sad part is, I let you. You aren't blocked, and I haven't deleted your number, and the frustrating part is, I was waiting for that text. How can I expect myself to grow as an adult if I have this stranger pulling me toward them? I hate you, yet I allow myself to be pulled back in every time. Which is why....
Everything hurts.
